This playful twist on a classic Sbagliato is like a sip of springtime in a glass. The original Sbagliato, which means "mistaken" in Italian, was born when a bartender accidentally used sparkling wine instead of gin in a Negroni. The result? A delightfully effervescent and bittersweet cocktail that became an instant favorite.
Our version keeps the bubbly magic alive with Mrs SYLTBAR Sparkling Rosé, the bittersweet charm of Amaro, and a sunny splash of fresh tart cherry juice. Make sure to use 100% juice without any additives. You want to find a product that is free of preservatives and added sugars, which will allow the cocktail’s balance of sweet, bitter, and citrusy notes to shine through for a more vibrant and refreshing sip.
A hint of orange bitters and a fragrant lemon twist garnish add an aromatic flourish that will whisk you away to a garden party at golden hour. It’s bubbly, citrusy, and perfectly bittersweet—an irresistible toast to life’s little joys!
