This cocktail is the buzz of the party—elevating the classic Bee’s Knees to sparkling new heights! The Bubbly Bee’s Knees is a vibrant mix of smooth gin, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and homemade honey syrup, crowned with a celebratory splash of Mr SYLTBAR Premium Brut Prosecco for an irresistible fizz.
Why stop at good when you can make it exceptional? By crafting your own honey syrup, you unlock the rich, golden flavors of pure honey, free from additives or overly processed alternatives. It’s not just sweeter—it’s silkier and more nuanced, perfectly balancing the tartness of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Speaking of lemons, there’s simply no substitute for the bright, zippy flavor of juice squeezed straight from the fruit. Store-bought lemon juice can be dull and flat, but when you go fresh, you get all the natural oils and brightness that make this cocktail truly shine.
Topped off with the sparkling effervescence of Mr, the Bubbly Bee’s Knees is equal parts refreshing and indulgent — a dazzling sip that will have your taste buds buzzing and your guests raising their glasses for more!
Perfect for brunch, celebrations, or any moment you want to make extraordinary.
Ingredients
-
2 oz gin (suggested: Monkey 47)
-
¾ oz homemade honey syrup*
-
¾ oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
-
3 oz Mr SYLTBAR
-
Garnish options: Lemon twist
Directions
Add gin, lemon juice, honey syrup and ice to a cocktail shaker and shake until chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Top with Mr SYLTBAR.
Garnish with a lemon twist.
Recipe Note
*To make homemade honey syrup, combine equal parts honey and warm water. Stir until completely blended together. This will keep well when stored in the refrigerator until use. This is an important step because honey is too thick to dissolve on its own in cold liquids, so a syrup must be made.
