Introducing the Venice Spritz, named for the beautiful Northern Italian city that is very close to Friuli, where SYLTBAR is produced. This bright, refreshing cocktail perfectly blends gin, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, homemade simple syrup, and our Mrs SYLTBAR Sparkling Rosé for a bubbly finish.
We believe in squeezing our own fresh grapefruit juice because nothing compares to the vibrant, pure flavor of fresh citrus. Store-bought juices often contain preservatives and added sugars that dull the natural tartness and sweetness of the fruit. By juicing fresh, you get a burst of flavor that elevates your cocktail without the unnecessary calories and sugar.
For the simple syrup, we also prefer homemade. It’s incredibly easy to make—all you need is equal parts sugar and water. Add these to a pan on your stove and bring to a gentle simmer until the sugar dissolves. Homemade syrup allows you to control the sweetness and skip any unnecessary additives found in pre-made versions. Plus, it’s fresher, making your Venice Spritz even more delightful!
