Claus and Regina (who are originally from Germany) first discovered their special Prosecco on the island of Sylt in Germany. Since the island is so meaningful to them, they decided to make it their brand name and add the word "bar" to the end, denoting a place where drinks are served. The name SLYTBAR which is pronounced 'zooltbar' reflects a sense of elegance, exclusivity and quality. The logo on SYLTBAR bottles is the shape of Sylt island.
SYLTBAR Prosecco is made from 100% Glera grapes, even though Italian law requires only 85% Glera to qualify as Prosecco. Our Sparkling Rosé is uniquely made from 100% Merlot grapes, the only one of its kind in the US. If you see a Prosecco Rosé, it means it’s a blend of 85% Glera with 15% red wine grapes. For us, it doesn’t make sense to mix white and red grapes just to call it Prosecco. We prioritize values over marketing, using only 100% of our chosen grape variety.

For Mr SYLTBAR, our Premium Prosecco, and Mrs, our Sparkling Rose, the ideal serving temperature is 45-49 degrees Fahrenheit. For all fine wines — this means those without bubbles — the ideal serving temperature is 50-53 degrees Fahrenheit.

I tried both the Mr. And Mrs. SYLTs.. First, I am a fan of Veuve, so I would be comparing the two sparkling wines to Veuve. I think I may prefer Mrs. SYLT as it has smaller bubbles, which I prefer and is more like the Veuve. Great taste too and I love that it has low sugar and is healthier. But now I need to try Mr. SYLT again to confirm that, as I had that several days ago and not side by side. I will definitely be reordering both again! At first, I thought there’s no way I could have 2 1/2 glasses of this Prosecco compared to one of my favorite Prosecco’s and I said there was gonna be a compromise, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this is as delicious if not more refreshing and less than half the calories, I mean, it doesn’t get any better than that and both Prosecco’s are absolutely delicious!

I love both the rose and prosecco. They are crisp with delicate bubbles, and it's a very nice bonus to have the lower calories.

The wine itselt was pertectly decent. The marketing is the problem. I reached out to them several times on Instagram to clarify. No response.
SYLTBAR repeatedly markets itself as a "49 calorie per 6 oz" Prosecco, but that number is highly misleading because it appears to count only sugar-related calories while ignoring the fact that the wine is still 11.5% alcohol.
Alcohol contains about 7 calories per gram. An 11.5% ABV sparkling wine physically cannot contain only 49 total calories in a 6 oz pour unless basic chemistry has stopped applying.
What they're really doing is comparing their estimated sugar calories against competitors' total calorie counts - which makes consumers think they've discovered some miracle low-calorie alcohol product when they Have not
